This is because, stability strategies are implemented by approaches wherein few functional changes are made in the products or markets.

It is not a ‘do nothing’ strategy. It involves keeping track of new developments to ensure that the strategy continues to make sense. This strategy is typical for mature business organizations. Some small organizations will also frequently use stability as a strategic focus to maintain comfortable market or profit position.
