One more step towards simplification. Now only the passengers carrying dutiable or prohibited goods have to declare and submit the customs declaration form while entering into India. And that too while they are still on the flight ie they don't have to wait in long queues after landing. Also, the duty free allowance for passenger coming by air has been increased from Rs8,000 to Rs15,000.
