Is job worker required to get registration under the GST?

As per the act, since job workers are the supplier of service, they need to get registration under the act if aggregate turnover exceeds prescribed threshold limit.
In other words, job workers should be registered under the act if aggregate turnover exceeds 20 lacs or 10 lace as the case may be.
