Expenses incurred for a dependent who has a minimum of 40% of a certain disability can claim a maximum deduction of Rs.75,000 under Section 80DD.

If a dependent has a minimum of 80% of any disability and expenses incurred on the medical expenses of such a dependent, he can claim a deduction up to Rs.1.25 lakh.
