I am doing the business of growing and manufacturing coffee. Recently, it has come to my knowledge that I am receiving subsidy from coffee board. Do I need to pay tax on such subsidy?

Subsidy that you received from coffee board for growing and manufacturing of coffee is exempted from tax.

Income tax act states that any subsidy received by the assessee for growing and manufacturing of coffee from the coffee board as specified by the central government shall be exempted from tax.
