Strategic decisions are formulated focusing the long term objectives of the organisation. So we can say that strategies are future oriented.
Without bifurcating grand strategies and long-term objectives into annual objectives and short-term strategies, implementation of the strategies is not possible. Dividing objectives, into annual plans help to move forward in a systematic manner.
