Leaders are the person who is responsible to manage the organisation in an efficient manner. Leader motivates and empowers employees to achieve company’s objectives by appealing to higher ideas and values.
A strategic leader has several responsibilities, including the following:
- Environment Scanning
- Dealing with the diverse and cognitively competitive situations.
- Managing human capital.
- Effectively managing the company's operations
- Sustaining high performance over time
- Willing to make candid, courageous, and yet pragmatic decisions
- Decision-making responsibilities that cannot be delegated
- Seeking feedback through face-to-face communications
- Being spokesman of the organisation.
