...I am an Iranian national. I worked in Belgium from 1/1/2015- 31/3/2015 on a work permit visa while I was resident of the UK. I was in the UK on a resident permit (I don't hold British passport). I paid taxes in the UK for the above period. Now Belgium tax authorities asked me to pay tax on the income on my earnings in the first 3 month of 2015. I lived in the UK from 09/2008- till 07/2014. Then I lived in Belgium 07/2014-11/2014- Then I lived in the UK again 12/2014 till present. Can I use double taxation to avoid paying tax twice? Do I need to pay tax to Belgium and claim back the tax I paid in the UK afterwards?
