3% rise in Marico shares on Q3 earnings

Feb,12,shares of Marico rose by 3% in trade as co. had 16.51% increase in its net profit at Rs 223.28 cr. for quarter ended Dec,31,2017. Q3 earnings had higher income led by gains in market & profit of Rs 191.64 cr. during Oct-Dec quarter of previous fiscal.Opening at Rs 303,stock gained to Rs 307,up 3.02%.Total income in quarter is Rs 1,641 cr. from Rs 1,439 cr. in previous year,growth of 9.4%.
