HCSC subsidiary TMG Health to be acquired by Cognizant

Cognizant on Jul'13 said that it has entered into agreement to purchase Health Care Service Corporation's (HCSC) subsidiary TMG Health.Transaction is expected to close in 3rd quarter of 2017. Financial details not disclosed.TMG Health is a provider of business process services to Medicare Advantage,Medicare Part D & Managed Medicaid markets.Its healthcare business & technology professionals will become employees of Cognizant.Combination of capabilities of both of them will strengthen Cognizant's scalable business process -as-a- service
