New 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is launched & SUV is back in India.Its bookings have started here few months back,at a ex-showroom,Mumbai price of Rs 31.95 lakh,sold in a single variant only,has 7 colours namely White Solid,White Pearl, Black Peral,Cosmic Blue,Cool Silver,Titanium Grey & Orient Red.It competes with Skoda Kodiaq & also new Honda CR-V that will be launched in near future.It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-litre,4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 6-step CVT gearbox,with 167 hp of power & torque of 222 Nm.

It is sold in a single variant only. It has been launched in seven colours namely White Solid, White Pearl, Black Peral, Cosmic Blue, Cool Silver, Titanium Grey & Orient Red. It locks horns just as in Skoda Kodiaq and also the new Honda CR-V that will be launched in the coming months.

New Outlander reaches in India via Completely Built Up (CBU) route and is the second SUV on sale here by the Japanese automaker, that SUV draws power from a naturally aspirated 2.4-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a six-step CVT gearbox, with 167 hp of power and torque of 222 Nm. The company does not plan to launch it with a diesel engine but a plug-in hybrid version may come later, as it is already on sale in some foreign markets. It has a seven-seat configuration and the second and third-row seats can be folded for more luggage space. For safety, it has seven airbags, hill start assist and active stability control. Its other features include an electric sunroof, dual zone climate control system and keyless entry, with leather seats and a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 710-watt Rockford Fosgate sound system.

The company plans to revive, after its tie-up with Hindustan Motors end. With more SUVs out from Mitsubishi in the future, there will be no new Lancer.
