Purandar chosen as green field international airport by AAI

Maharashtra Government after approval asked for detailed project report(DPR) for greenfield international airport at Purandar(District Pune).Airport to have an area, 2400 hectares & site is approved by Airport Authority Of India(AAI).It will be connected to 4 different routes,a special ring road connecting big Industrial plants & National Highway 4 & 17.Airport is expected to start in 3 years,after land acquisition from farmers
