Sensex jumps 330.87 pts(0.87%) & end at new high of 38,278.75 & Nifty jumped 81 pts(0.71%),a record closing high of 11,551.75. Intraday,BSE index was at 38,340.69 & NSE index hit 11,563.80.Main gainers & losers are :: LT +6.74%(1323.95);TATAMOTORS +4.74%(269.55);ONGC +3.34%(168.55);TATASTEEL +3.24%(599.40);INFY -3.22%(1385.20);MARUTI -7.90(9075.90);ICICI Bank -0.50%(338.35).Domestic institutional investors bought shares of Rs 151.89 cr & foreign portfolio investors bought shares of Rs 147.31 cr.

Capital goods, metal, infrastructure and oil & gas stocks bought heavily, where as, IT, TECk and consumer durables dropped due to selling.
