Share buyback next week considered by Wipro board

Company’s board is meeting on 19 & 20 Jul'2017 to consider Wipro’s 1st quarter results.Co. did not disclose size of buyback.As on Mar',2017, Wipro had cash & cash equivalents of Rs5,271 cr ($813 million) on its books.Wipro Ltd.Board will consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares of co. on Jul'20,2017.Share buybacks improve earnings/share & return surplus cash to shareholders & supports share price in times of sluggish market.
