Global home furnishings retailer IKEA to open its 2nd store in India in Navi Mumbai in Jan',19 with an investment of Rs.1,000 cr.There is huge market for it here.Maharashtra has a target for affordable housing to build 2 million such houses'IKEA said it plans to open 5-6 stores in state.Store's area to be 32,000 sq.Mt,expected to employ 2200 workers,& plans to open 25 stores in India.
