Every other consultant lags in sending their expense reimbursements. I actually had to counsel a consultant with dreadful cash flow problems who had nearly ₹100,000 in outstanding expense reimbursements unsubmitted going back over a year. Send these in every single month, and never agree to a period longer than a month. If you don’t like detail, too bad —I don’t like wasting time at the dentist, but I prefer that to my teeth rotting. Hire a bookkeeper by the hour if you must, but submit reimbursement requests zealously, with receipts, to avoid questions and delay.
