Cell phones and Tablets are not declared goods
The Telecom department has proposed before Empowered Committee (EC) of State Finance Ministers to consider the mobile phones and tablets under the declared goods category. However, the EC has declined the offer. EC is of view that no good should be kept under declared goods in the GST regime.
