Sir, The auditor of our company had resigned the company. We are planning to fill the casual vacancy of auditor in AGM without calling EGM. Is it permissible to do so?

You need to hold EGM to appoint the auditor of the company.

In case of casual vacancy of auditor, it is to be filled by BOD within 30 days of resignation.

Same should ratified in the member's meeting within 90 days of such appointment by the BOD.
