We desire to increase number of directors in our company. It is a private company. The AOA of the company provide that the maximum number of directors in a company shall be 15. We want to increase the number of directors to 18. Currently, the company is having 12 directors.

Please advise, whether we can do so or not.

Every company can have a maximum of 15 directors in its Board.

However, if a company wishes to have more than 15 directors, it has to pass a special resolution authorising the same and amend AOA accordingly.
