Time and event constitute an important factor for the levy of tax in GST regime. The taxable event is when goods are delivered to buyer and in case of service when service is delivered subject to the conditions under the act.

CGST and SGST/ UTGST will be levied on intra- State supplies. IGST will be levied on inter-State supplies.
