How can I file income tax return electronically?

Income-tax Department has established an independent portal for e-filing of return of income. Firstly, you need to open site of income tax department(https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in). Then you have to log in with your ID, password and date of birth. Then you can file your return after filling up applicable ITR form.
If you are using this portal for the first time, there is an option to register and you can obtain your ID and password.
