I had to file the return of a friend for AY 2018-19. However, I couldn't verify the return because …

I had to file the return of a friend for AY 2018-19. However, I couldn't verify the return because I don't have access to his OTP or bank account.

How do I verify this return? And by when should I verify it? I have already filed the return.Please help.

If you can not e-verify your return, you need to physically deliver the acknowledgement of the return to the Central Processing Centre, Bangalore.

The acknowledgement should be sent within 120 days of filing of such return.
