The act has defined the disabilities under the act. As per the act, the following diseases are the diseases, expenses of which are allowed deduction

Cognitive or severe mental disabilities Low vision
Blindness Leprosy-cured
Hearing impairment Locomotor disability
Mental retardation Autism
Cerebral palsy Other multiple disabilities
