India becomes world’s 6th biggest economy, ahead of France(7th place),according to updated World Bank figures for 2017.Last year India’s GDP was $2.597 trillion, against France's $2.582 trillion.India is projected to have a growth of 7.4% this year & 7.8% in 2019, where as that of world at 3.9%.By end of last year India would overtake both Britain & France this year in GDP, & may be by 2032 it is world’s 3rd biggest economy. India becomes the world’s sixth-biggest economy, ahead of France into seventh place, according to updated World Bank figures for 2017.
Last year India’s gross domestic product (GDP) was $2.597 trillion, against France's $2.582 trillion.
After slow down, economy gained strongly from Jul',2017, due good government policies.
India’s per capita GDP continues to be little less than that of France which is about 20 times higher, as per figures of World Bank. It is mainly due to our population which is 21 times France.
Due to demonitisation and GST implementation there was drop in manufacturing and consumer spending, but it rose and Indian economy was much better now. In last few years GDP of India has doubled leaving behind China.
