File ITR even in AIS mismatch persists

You should file your income tax return even if you see mismatches between AIS and your records. You should request for error correction before filing ITR. But file your ITR even if error isn't corrected.

I am not revealing any secret.

You know, everyone knows that the government has all the records of each and every financial transaction of ours.

You have linked PAN with Aadhaar. Your PAN has been added into the GST number. Banks have your PAN. Stock transaction has your PAN.

Everywhere, wherever you do financial transactions, the government will get information about it. And this government has proved to you by introducing FORM AIS.

That's why please match your figures with form AIS before filing the return. There are still a lot of errors in AIS form. You can connect errors very easily.

I will tell you in one of my videos how you can correct it.

But if AIS information is not matching with your information, then definitely file your income tax return.

Do not delay There is more harm in delaying and there is benefit in filing on time.

Get AIS error fixed later. Submit AIS error correction request before filing your return, but file your return in time without looking at whether the error is corrected or not.
