IIM bill passed,with a catch; impacts current students

Indian Institute of Management Bill,gives them power to award degrees to students instead of diplomas.It affects current batch,as it changes from granting diplomas to degrees.Act,came wef last month.Debates as,what to be awarded to students who were enrolled in Institutes during time when act was proposed in Parliament.As batch of 2018 will soon pass out & it is yet to decide if students to get a postgraduate diploma in management or MBA degree.
