Yes.

It is mandatory to file ADT-1 by the company with the registrar. The company has to file within fifteen days of the meeting in which an auditor is appointed. Late filing or non-filing will attract the penalty as prescribed under the act.

However, it is not necessary to file ADT-1 for the appointment of the first auditor.
