How do I know whether a company is authentic or not? I am asking this because I have seen some people who said their company is not registered at all and they are still running the business.

Is there any way to know if a company is registered? If yes, what other information about the company can be availed?

It is simple.

The ministry of Corporate Affairs website has a master data of all the companies registered in India. You can search the company in this page,.if you find it here, then it is an authentic company.
