Am I entitled to take input tax credit for a purchase made where more than 15 months has expired from the date of the issue of the tax invoice of such purchase?

No, you are not entitled to claim ITC for an invoice dated 1 year or back.
For Clarification: (Quoted from the CGST Act)
A registered person shall not be entitled to take input tax credit under sub-section (1) in respect of any supply of goods or services or both to him after the expiry of one year from the date of issue of tax invoice relating to such supply.
