Under GST regime, works contract will be treated as a supply of service and not as a supply of goods.
In case of works contractor, returns under GST will be:
GSTR-1,
GSTR-2
GSTR-3 and
GSTR-9

You would be surprised to know that these are the same returns which should be filed in case of normal taxpayers too.
