If I charge for packing materials from the buyer, and show it spearately in the tax invoice, will GST be applicable on it?

Yes, GST shall be applicable on packing charges if shown separately on the invoice. This will be considered as a composite supply and thus, the GST rate as applicable on the principal supply will be applicable on packing charges as well.
