A section 8 company has applied for section 12AA registration. It has applied as a charitable institution. It has word "Spiritual advancement" and "Teaching Vedic Arts" in its objectives. The tax officer has demanded to explain that how "Spiritual advancement" and "Teaching Vedic Arts" are charitable in nature.

Can you please advise whether Spiritual advancement is charitable in nature or not?
