How do I find out the history of my payments to Income Tax Department India?

If you have made payment of ‘Income tax’ then you can check it in your Form 26AS online. However, this may take some days to be reflected on the Form 26AS.
Alternatively, check your your bank via netbanking. Some banks do give an option to generate tax challans again.
Tax challans are ultimate proof that tax has been paid by you.
