I have received a notice from the CPC under section 143(3) because I had claimed current year losses in my ITR when the return was filed after the due date.
The date of the notice is 18th May, 2018.
By when should I respond to this notice?
You need to file a response within 30 days of receiving such notice. In your case, you should respond within the 17th of June, 2018.
To file a response:
Login to your PAN at Income Tax E-Filing Portal and click on E-proceedings.
Find your notice, and click on respond.
You can agree, disagree or Partially agree with the notice, you will be given an option to choose from this three. You can submit your response accordingly.
