SIP stands for Systematic Investment Plan. In SIP, investor invests funds periodically over a period of time, instead of one lump sum payment.

The frequency of investment can be weekly, monthly or quarterly.

You can invest as small as Rs 500 each month in SIP. There is no limit on the maximum amount that you want to invest periodically.
