I have filed an refund application with the GST authorities for claiming a refund against the exces…

I have filed an refund application with the GST authorities for claiming a refund against the excess balance in my Electronic Cash Ledger.

3 months have expired since I filed the application and I still have not received my refund.

Am I entitled to any interest from the GST authorities in respect of this late approval of refund?

Yes, you are entitled to receive interest in respect of such late approval.

You are entitled to receive an interest of upto 6% from the expiry of 60 days after filing of refund application.
