No Object Certificate

As the name suggests, A no object certificate states that the owner of the building (or premises) has allowed to set up a company in these premises for a predetermined consideration (lease rent/ rent).

A No Object Certificate has these informations:

1. Name of the owner of the premises, and Age
2. Address where the company is set up
3. The consideration of the arrangement (Rent)
4. Period of the arrangement

A sample No Object Certificate looks like this:

 SUBJECT: NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (From Landlord)

I, ______(Name of Landlord) S/O/W/O Sh./Mr. ________, the owner of the property located at ____________(address of property)________, do hereby declare and confirm that I have rented the mentioned property to _________ (Person Name/Business name/Company Name) for the purpose of (office premises) for Eleven months from the period starting from ____ (Date).

Further, the tenancy of the said property shall be for Eleven months and which shall be extended subject to the mutual understanding of both the parties. The rent for the property shall be Rs_______ for the first 11 months and which shall be decided subject to the mutual understanding of both the parties after this period.

I further state that I have no objection and convey my consent to _____________ (Person Name/Business name/Company Name) to use premises for the office purposes.
