What are the documents you need to produce while filing a case u/s 138

Following are the requirements of the legal notice sent u/s 138 of the Negotiable instruments act:

Legal Notice (LN) is to be sent within 15 days of dishonour
Legal Notice to contain a description of the cheque i.e Cheque No, date, amount with amount in words, drawer, bank account of drawer.
Legal Notice to contain description of Dishonour i.e the date and reason
Legal Notice to contain a demand of payment of the cheque amount to be made within 15 days and no additional demand
Legal Notice has to be received by the Drawer and to ensure that it may be sent by any or all modes like speed post, courier, email, WhatsApp, by hand etc
Optional: A description of the transaction may be given in the legal notice.
